Ari Hest to perform at Lizzie Rose Music Room on March 26th
Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Ari Hest will be returning to the Lizzie Rose Music Room on March 26, 2026. The doors will open at 7:00 pm, with the show starting at 7:30 pm. With a career that began as an independent artist in 2001, Ari Hest has garnered a loyal following by extensively touring the college circuit between 2000 and 2003. During this time, he released two albums under Columbia Records – “Someone To Tell” in 2004 and “The Break-In” in 2007. Throughout his career, Ari has toured both domestically and internationally with artists such as Martin Sexton, Suzanne Vega, and Ani Difranco.
In 2008, Ari embarked on an ambitious project where he wrote, recorded, and released a new song every Monday in his 52 project. This endeavor resulted in the release of “Twelve Mondays” in 2009, a collection of remixed fan favorites from the 52 project. From 2010 to 2016, Ari continued his relentless touring schedule and released four more LP’s: “Sunset Over Hope Street” in 2011, “The Fire Plays” in 2012, “Shouts And Whispers” in 2015, and the Grammy-nominated “Silver Skies Blue” in 2017, a duets album with Judy Collins.

In early 2022, Ari began writing, recording, and releasing a song every two weeks through his Patreon page. This creative endeavor has continued to the present day, resulting in the release of two albums comprised of Patreon subscriber favorites in the spring of 2024, titled “The Treehouse Project – Year One” and “Year Two.”
The Lizzie Rose Music Room is a non-profit organization established in 2014 in the state of New Jersey with the aim of bringing live music to Tuckerton, as well as the surrounding Ocean County and beyond. Described as a “Listening Room,” the venue offers a variety of music genres including Blues, Jazz, Bluegrass, Country, Rock, Soul, and Singer/Songwriters.
