Frankie Fest has unveiled an impressive LGBTQ+ Rock lineup for its 2026 edition at Brooklyn’s House of Yes. The festival pays homage to the late queer-punk icon, Frankie Rex, with headliners like Girl in a Coma, Boy Jr., and The FMS.

This annual queer rock festival commemorates the legacy of Frankie Maddox Rex, former co-founder and co-vocalist of the synth punk band, the FMS, who tragically passed away in 2022. The event promises a mix of alt-rock, punk, and immersive theatrical performances that celebrate the enduring impact of Frankie Rex.

Girl In A Coma, a San Antonio-based indie-punk trio, will make a special appearance for the festival following their recent reunion. The lineup also includes Boy Jr., an alt-pop artist, and performances by UgLi, Cat Crush, Theophobia, and Villins.

To add to the excitement, the festival will showcase a diverse array of performers from the burlesque, drag, and variety entertainment scenes, featuring talents like Faux Pas Le Fae, Aurora North, Topher Bousquet, and Kita St. Cyr. Co-founded by Miss Cherry Delight and The FMS, the festival aims to not only honor Frankie Rex’s memory but also create inclusive spaces for trans, non-binary, and queer artists.

Furthermore, DJ Goth Dad will take the stage to transition the live rock showcase into a lively dance party, promising an unforgettable night of music and celebration. The doors to this spectacular event will open at 7:00 pm on Sunday, May 3rd, at House of Yes. For more information and ticket purchases, visit the festival’s official website.

In conclusion, Frankie Fest 2026 is set to be a memorable and vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ rock music and the enduring legacy of Frankie Rex, bringing together a lineup of talented artists and performers for a night of music, remembrance, and inclusivity.
