Neurosis’ latest album, “An Undying Love For A Burning World,” marks their first release in ten years. The band emphasizes that this new album is not a reunion because they never disbanded. The album consists of eight tracks and was recorded in Seattle over three weekends during the past winter season.

A notable addition to this album is the inclusion of SUMAC’s Aaron Turner, who contributed to the vocals and guitar parts. The band expressed their excitement about Turner’s energetic input, stating that it harmonizes perfectly with their own creative energy. Turner himself shared his admiration for Neurosis, highlighting how their music has always resonated with him, even from his earliest encounters with it over 30 years ago. He expressed gratitude for being welcomed into a band that not only influenced his musical perspective but also upheld values of creativity and camaraderie.

Neurosis plans to return to the stage with their first live performance in seven years at the Fire In The Mountains festival on the traditional lands of the Blackfeet Nation in Montana. This performance is particularly meaningful as it aligns with the efforts of the Firekeeper Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to reducing youth suicide rates in Indian Country. The festival is scheduled to run from July 23 to July 26.

While the digital version of the full album is currently available for streaming and download, physical copies are set to be released on May 15. Fans can preorder these physical copies to have a tangible piece of Neurosis’ latest work in their collections. “An Undying Love For A Burning World” is officially out on Neurot Recordings for fans to enjoy.

The release of this album signifies a significant moment for Neurosis as they continue to push the boundaries of their musical creativity. The album showcases the band’s evolution and experimental nature, incorporating new sounds and influences while staying true to their unique style. Fans of Neurosis can expect a compelling and immersive listening experience with “An Undying Love For A Burning World.”
