It has been seven weeks since Nancy Guthrie was last seen in Tucson, Arizona, and investigations into her disappearance have failed to produce any concrete leads or suspects. Former Fox News personality Megyn Kelly has put forth a compelling theory on SiriusXM’s The Megyn Kelly Show, suggesting that a transnational criminal organization could be responsible for Nancy’s abduction.

Kelly, in a discussion with security experts James Hamilton and Will Geddes, highlighted the possibility of a group of South American criminals being involved in breaking into homes, which could link them to Nancy’s disappearance. Citing video evidence she had seen, Kelly was convinced that the individuals in the footage resembled the description of Nancy’s suspected abductor, especially with their attire of black masks, gloves, and hoodies.

Nancy, who is the mother of Today show co-host Savannah Guthrie, went missing on January 31, with investigators believing she was forcefully taken from her home. Despite releasing doorbell camera footage capturing a masked suspect and sharing details of the potential abductor, law enforcement has yet to make any significant breakthroughs in the case.

While Kelly firmly stood by the transnational criminal group theory, Geddes expressed skepticism, highlighting the absence of a clear motive for a breaking and entering crime, as well as the perplexing disappearance of Nancy herself. Hamilton supported the theory by pointing out the lack of DNA matches in the FBI database, indicating that the perpetrators could have entered the country on tourist visas without any prior criminal records.

Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that DNA tests conducted did not result in any positive matches within the FBI database. Though Hamilton acknowledged the uncertainty surrounding Nancy’s whereabouts, he reiterated the calculated nature of the criminals involved, reinforcing the possibility of their involvement in Nancy’s abduction.

The investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance remains ongoing, with Kelly’s theory shedding new light on a potential link between her abduction and the activities of a transnational criminal network. As authorities continue to pursue all leads and evidence, the mystery surrounding Nancy’s whereabouts deepens, leaving her family and supporters anxiously awaiting any breakthrough in the case.
