In “Talking Heads,” he offers pointed observations about politicians today over a funky rhythm bed accentuated by wah-wah guitar and fuzzy bass. Birchwood’s guitar solo is precise and impactful, with Hetherington showcasing his skills on the B3 and Oliver and Wright holding down the low end. The closing track, “The Struggle Is Real,” serves as a rallying cry for enduring resistance, presented as a soulful tune with background vocalists and church-like piano and organ.
