Lou Gramm, the renowned vocalist and 2024 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee known for his iconic voice as the original lead singer of Foreigner, has recently unveiled his latest solo album, “Released”. This long-awaited third solo album consists of ten original songs co-written with Bruce Turgon, recorded in the 1980s following his solo releases “Ready Or Not” (1987) and “Long Hard Look” (1989), and finally completed with meticulous care and attention.
Collaborating with associate producer Matthew Gramm, Lou Gramm has managed to preserve the warm, gritty, and analog essence of the original recordings while infusing them with a renewed sense of clarity and sonic depth. “Released” serves as a bridge between Gramm’s acclaimed solo career and his enduring vocal prowess that has solidified his status as one of the most influential voices in rock music.
