Wonpil releases his most unfiltered album yet

After an absence of four years, Wonpil from Day6 is returning with a new solo EP that promises to showcase a more vulnerable side of the artist. Titled “Unpiltered,” the EP, composed and written by Wonpil himself, will be released at 6 p.m. on Monday, marking his first solo project since the 2022 album “Pilmography.”

In a candid interview held at a cafe in southern Seoul, Wonpil expressed his excitement and nervousness about unveiling this new chapter in his musical journey. He revealed that “Unpiltered” is a deliberate departure from his previous work, aiming to expose a raw and unpolished part of himself that he hadn’t previously shared with audiences.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the EP, Wonpil mentioned his desire to explore different musical styles and artistic expressions.
