Alice Cooper unveils new guitarist Ann Cara for The Rock Revival.
Alice Cooper has introduced Anna Cara, a young British guitarist, as the replacement for Nita Strauss. Nita announced her hiatus earlier this year to welcome her first child. Anna, aged 22 and hailing from Newcastle, England, has previously collaborated with musicians such as Marc Storace from the band Krokus and Tommy Henriksen from Alice Cooper and the Hollywood Vampires. Her online presence on Instagram has garnered a following through her guitar videos. Anna will be performing at Alice’s special “Welcome To Our Nightmare” shows in Las Vegas from April 2-4. These shows are in partnership with illusionist Criss Angel and will be held at his theater in Planet Hollywood.
Following her debut, Anna will be joining Alice on his “Alice’s Attic” U.S. tour from April 14 to May 9. Afterward, he will return to Las Vegas for three additional “Welcome To Our Nightmare” shows with Criss Angel from May 22-24. Alice’s schedule remains busy as he is set to embark on a European tour from June 13 to July 12 with plans for more shows in the fall.
Alice himself expressed excitement at welcoming Anna to the band while Nita takes her leave, stating that Anna’s style complements the group perfectly.
