HEALTH has recently announced the release of their new single, ‘A.L.O.N.E.’, which is part of their upcoming EP, ADDENDUM, set to be launched on April 30 through Loma Vista Recordings.

Known for their unique blend of industrial and metal music, HEALTH has been continuously impressing audiences with their work. Despite the recent release of their album CONFLICT DLC in December, the band shows no signs of slowing down, revealing their new EP, ADDENDUM, scheduled for release on April 30 via Loma Vista Recordings.

Accompanying the EP announcement is the debut of their new track, ‘A.L.O.N.E.’, which comes with a visually intense video featuring scenes from the 1995 dark comedy film The Doom Generation. The imagery in the video is graphic, so viewers should use caution when watching it during their commute or in public spaces.

The ADDENDUM EP serves as an update to the group’s previous four-song EP, originally part of the Ultra Edition of their 2024 release, RAT WARS. The revised list of tracks for the EP now includes three new songs: ‘Trials’, ‘A.L.O.N.E’, and ‘Ruin’.

In light of their latest album’s themes surrounding societal collapse, isolation, and dystopia, the band found their music to be increasingly relevant. Band member Jake Duzsik elaborated on the band’s approach, stating, “Before we were writing dystopian music for a future, primitive, broken society in a sort of conceptual way. Now, society is just that.”

Duzsik also expressed the band’s desire for their newer songs to have a more significant impact during live performances. Their goal with CONFLICT DLC was to create music that existed in the same sonic and aesthetic realm as RAT WARS, but with added energy, fun, and a touch of melancholy.

Health enthusiasts in Australia are in for a treat as the band prepares to return to the country later this year. French producer Perturbator and King Yosef will be joining them for a night filled with industrial cyberpunk-inspired music. The tour is expected to commence on September 18 at Brisbane’s Tivoli and will travel down Australia’s east coast before concluding on September 26 at Fremantle’s Metropolis venue.
