Rockville Festival Announces Schedule and Additional Bands for Next Month
The highly anticipated Welcome to Rockville festival has recently unveiled its schedule for the upcoming event, set to take place over four days and across five stages from May 7 to May 10. The festival announcement came with some notable changes to the lineup, including the addition of exciting new bands and rearrangements in the performance days for existing acts.
Among the new bands added to this year’s lineup are the Mongolian folk metal group The Hu, rapper Waka Flocka Flame, Florida-based metalcore band Afterlife, NVSN, and As You Were. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, popular acts such as Tom Morello, Biffy Clyro, Gym Class Heroes, Crown The Empire, and VOILÃ are no longer able to perform at the festival. One of the highlights of this year’s lineup is a three-hour set by the legendary rock group Guns N’ Roses, scheduled for Thursday, May 7, starting at 9:30 p.m. Other noteworthy performances include Alice Cooper on Thursday at 5:30 p.m., Godsmack at 7:20 p.m., and Ice Nine Kills at 10:20 p.m. The musical spectacle continues with Hollywood Undead on Friday at 5:15 p.m., Poppy at 6:05 p.m., The Offspring at 7:50 p.m., and Foo Fighters at 10:00 p.m. Saturday boasts acts like Highly Suspect at 6:05 p.m., Switchfoot at 6:35 p.m., and Bring Me The Horizon at 10:20 p.m. The festival comes to a grand finale on Sunday with performances by Yellowcard at 6:55 p.m., Rise Against at 8:00 p.m., A Day to Remember at 9:05 p.m., and My Chemical Romance at 10:20 p.m.
