YES reveals 24th album ‘Aurora’ and debuts title track
Prog-rock legends YES have announced the upcoming release of their 24th studio album titled ‘Aurora,’ poised to hit shelves on June 12th, 2026, through InsideOutMusic/Sony Music. This star-studded lineup includes Steve Howe, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison, Billy Sherwood, and Jay Schellen. Guitarist Steve Howe shares his thoughts on the making of the record, emphasizing the joy and devotion put into the music, highlighting the collaborative essence of the band. According to Howe, they strive not to imitate their past but to carry the spirit of YES into new territory.
The band has also revealed the album’s title track with a visually stunning animated video conceptualized by Matt Hutchings (known for his work with Greg Lake, Oasis, Iron Maiden). ‘Aurora’ will be offered in various formats, including a Limited Deluxe 180g Light Green 2LP+2CD+Blu-ray Artbook & Poster and a Ltd Deluxe 2CD+Blu-ray Artbook, both displaying the mesmerizing artwork of Roger and Freya Dean.
