Foo Fighters have recently announced the impending release of their 12th album titled “Your Favorite Toy,” slated to hit the shelves on April 24. In conjunction with this announcement, the band also dropped a new single entitled “Of All People,” which is already available for eager fans to enjoy. Frontman Dave Grohl shared his thoughts on the album, revealing that “‘Your Favorite Toy’ was truly the catalyst that set the tone and direction for the album’s energy.

This album’s inception came after a year of experimentation with various sounds and dynamics, ultimately leading Foo Fighters to stumble upon a sound that resonated deeply with them. Grohl shared that the day this new direction materialized, he knew that it had to be pursued further. “Your Favorite Toy” became the spark that ignited a chain reaction of songs recorded for this album. Grohl expressed that this new musical venture feels fresh and invigorating for the band.

The tracklist for “Your Favorite Toy” includes a diverse range of songs, such as “Caught in the Echo,” “Window,” “If You Only Knew,” and “Asking for a Friend.” Each track promises to showcase the band’s musical evolution and creative growth since their last album release.

In addition to the album news, Foo Fighters announced that they have lined up an extensive schedule of tour dates. Moreover, the band welcomed a new drummer, Ilan Rubin, who stepped in to fill the shoes of Josh Freese after his departure. Alongside Dave Grohl, the band consists of longstanding members Nate Mendel (Bass – Since 1995), Pat Smear (Guitar – Since 1995), Chris Shiflett (Guitar – Since 1999), and Rami Jaffee (Keyboards – Since 2016).

Fans across various cities can look forward to catching Foo Fighters live on their upcoming tour. Scheduled performances in cities such as Oslo, Stockholm, Paris, Liverpool, Madrid, and Vienna will treat audiences to an exhilarating showcase of the band’s new music, as well as their classic hits.

The tour kicks off on June 10 with a performance in Oslo, Norway, at the Unity Arena, followed by stops in Stockholm, Warsaw, Munich, Paris, Liverpool, and many more iconic cities across Europe. Foo Fighters will then make their way to North America in August, with shows in Toronto, Detroit, Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Nashville, and Washington, D.C., among others.

This sensational tour will take the band across acclaimed venues such as Soldier Field in Chicago, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, and Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. The North American leg of the tour will culminate in Las Vegas at the Allegiant Stadium on September 26.
