Foo Fighters release a new single titled “Of All People”
Returning with their 12th album titled “Your Favorite Toy” on April 24, Foo Fighters have unveiled their latest single “Of All People.” Lead vocalist Dave Grohl expressed that the album was shaped by a pivotal song, “Your Favorite Toy,” that set the tone and direction for the entire project. Grohl shared, “We stumbled upon it after experimenting with different sounds and dynamics for over a year, and the day it took shape I knew that we had to follow its lead. It was the fuse to the powder keg of songs we wound up recording for this record. It feels new.”
The tracklist of the album consists of 10 songs, including “Caught in the Echo,” “Window,” “If You Only Knew,” and more. The band also introduced Ilan Rubin as their new drummer, replacing Josh Freese, who was dismissed.
Tour dates for Foo Fighters have been set with various locations such as Oslo, Norway; Stockholm, Sweden; Paris, France; and Liverpool, UK, among others. The band lineup continues with other members including Nate Mendel on bass since 1995, Pat Smear on guitar since 1995, Chris Shiflett on guitar since 1999, and Rami Jaffee on keyboards since 2016.
The upcoming tour will have the band visit multiple cities including Berlin, Vienna, Madrid, and Chicago, wrapping up in Las Vegas in September.
