Celine Dion, the beloved Canadian singer, has recently released a new single, “Dansons,” which translates to “Let’s Dance” in English. This French-language single was recorded in Las Vegas at the Studio at the Palms, where Dion has a history of recording some of her music.

The release of this new single comes after a seven-year hiatus from releasing new music. Accompanying the track is a lyric video that was filmed on the streets of Paris, adding a visual element to the emotional ballad. This song marks Dion’s first new music since her 2019 album, “Courage,” and her performance in the 2023 romance drama “Love Again.”

Dion’s collaboration with renowned French singer-songwriter Jean-Jacques Goldman for this single holds sentimental value. The duo previously worked together on the 1995 album “D’eux,” which remains the best-selling French-language album of all time. They also collaborated on the 2016 album “Encore un soir,” released shortly after the passing of Dion’s husband, René Angélil.

In preparation for her upcoming shows in Paris in September and October, where she is set to headline at the Paris La Défense Arena, Dion has been rehearsing at undisclosed locations around the city. The shows will feature a mix of English and French songs, showcasing Dion’s versatility in performing in both languages.

The Studio at the Palms in Las Vegas holds a special place for Dion, as she has used the studio for recording various projects over the years, including parts of her albums such as “Loved Me Back to Life” and “Flying on My Own.” The familiar environment of the studio has served as an essential creative space for Dion to hone her artistic craft and produce heartfelt music.

Fans of Celine Dion can rejoice in this new release, as the iconic singer continues to captivate audiences with her powerful vocals and emotional performances. With her latest single, “Dansons,” Dion once again demonstrates her ability to connect with listeners on a deeply emotional level through her music.
