Today, HOLD MY OWN has unveiled their latest full-length album, PAY NO MIND, under the DAZE label. The band, originating in 2021 from the fusion of Chicago and New Jersey, has made waves with their robust hardcore vibes, showcasing their talent across four EPs and a shared record, gracing stages nationwide alongside heavy hitters like Terror, Madball, and End It. With PAY NO MIND, HOLD MY OWN embarks on a mission to craft a purely hardcore piece that stays true to their signature style. This album boasts eleven tracks brimming with intense guitar-driven melodies, powerful vocals, and impactful breakdowns.
Guitarist Anchit Chhabra gives insight into the album’s concept, stating, “The album essentially embodies the message of the title track: ignore external influences and do things your own way, regardless of anything else.” The release envelops listeners in a whirlwind of sound, with layers of guitar riffs, solos, and resonant gang chants. HOLD MY OWN is currently rounding off a successful U.S. tour alongside Snuffed On Sight and Bayway. Following this, they are slated to embark on a European tour with Outta Pocket in May, with confirmed dates across various cities. The band lineup consists of Gregory Falchetto on vocals, Anchit Chhabra on guitar/vocals, Sergio Mendoza on drums, Kashish Chhabra on bass, and Mike Milewski on guitar.
