The upcoming edition of the Somos Rock Festival, set to take place on April 25th in São Paulo at the Arena Anhembi and on April 26th in Curitiba at the Live Curitiba, has been postponed. The decision was made just one week before the event in the two cities. The festival will be rescheduled for the second half of the year, although the exact dates have yet to be confirmed.

The organizers mentioned that logistical and production issues led to this postponement. By doing so, they aim to ensure the festival’s quality, safety, and a better experience for the attendees. They plan to reorganize the event to deliver an even larger, more immersive, and unforgettable edition.

The festival was supposed to feature both national and international rock artists. In São Paulo, performances by Smash Mouth, Echo & The Bunnymen, Spin Doctors, Revisiting Creedence, Ira!, Biquini, and Detonautas were planned. Meanwhile, in Curitiba, Echo & The Bunnymen, Spin Doctors, Smash Mouth, Candlebox, Os Paralamas do Sucesso, Detonautas, and Raimundos were expected to appear.

Due to this change, the organization is working on restructuring the event, including lining up a new set of artists and crafting an experience that lives up to the festival’s mission. Previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled event. Alternatively, attendees who wish for a full refund, including fees, can do so through Ticketmaster, with guidelines to be provided shortly.

Furthermore, for those choosing to retain their tickets, the promise is an extraordinary edition upon the festival’s return.
