Video footage captures moment 15-year-old boy is fatally shot in Queens, sparking terror

Recently surfaced footage captured the tragic moment a teenage boy in Queens was fatally shot in a park, causing a panic among the onlookers, mostly youngsters.

The distressing video, shot only a few feet away from the suspected gang-related shooting, depicts Jaden Pierre, a 15-year-old, standing near a metal fence at Roy Wilkins Park in St. Albans, staring down his assailants just moments before being shot in the chest.

The footage revealed that Jaden had been attacked by a group of youths gathered at the Nautilus Playground in a relentless brawl, with the aggressors physically assaulting him before the fatal shot was fired.

A member of the mob present at the playground can be seen striking Jaden in the head as the group closes in on him, and then a gunshot is heard, which causes Jaden to collapse to the ground, while the crowd scatters in fear.

The video shows a girl recording the incident expressing shock and disbelief as she hastily runs away, capturing the panic and chaos that ensued after the shooting. Former Mayor Eric Adams had also shared another video capturing the violent event from a different angle, where Jaden can be observed being brutally beaten before being shot.

Following the attack, Jaden was rushed to Jamaica Hospital where he was pronounced dead. Notably, the suspect, who was seen wearing a backpack during the incident, is still at large, prompting law enforcement to offer a reward of $3,500 for any information that leads to an arrest.
