Alice Cooper is a pioneer of a form of Hard Rock that is theatrically shocking, pulling inspiration from horror films, vaudeville, and Garage Rock. The concoction created by the group led to a stage show that involved electric chairs, guillotines, fake blood, and even boa constrictors.

Alice Cooper’s touring schedule keeps him on the road for six months annually, but he doesn’t seem to mind. Known as the “Architect of Shock-Rock,” Cooper, whether as part of the original Alice Cooper band or as a solo artist, has challenged and defied the norms of generations, keeping fans on their toes with every performance.

Despite his long and successful career, Alice Cooper shows no signs of slowing down. He is booked through the end of 2026 in both the USA and Europe. Recently, he released a new album titled The Revenge of Alice Cooper, a reunion of the original Alice Cooper band which hadn’t released an album together since 1973. The album was produced once again by Bob Ezrin.

Aside from music, Alice Cooper dabbles in various activities. He starred as King Herod in the live NBC-TV production of Jesus Christ Superstar, which was well-received. Cooper has also appeared in numerous TV and online commercials for brands like Uber Eats, Cooper Tires, and AirBnB.

Alice’s Attic, his nightly radio show, reaches audiences in several cities across the United States, Germany, New Zealand, and Australia. He was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in 2025 for this show. Additionally, Cooper hosts a monthly golf-themed show on SiriusXM with his friend Rocco Mediate called Rolling The Rock With Alice and Rocco.

Born in Detroit and raised in Phoenix, Cooper’s journey started when the Alice Cooper band was formed while they were still in high school. Their collaboration with producer Bob Ezrin led to the success of their third album Love It to Death. The band continued to release hit albums and singles, setting the stage for Cooper’s successful solo career in the late 1970s.

Throughout the years, Cooper’s influence on Rock & Roll and popular culture has been widely celebrated. Inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame in 2011, Cooper’s career has been a rollercoaster ride marked by platinum albums, sold-out tours, and numerous honors and achievement awards. As he gears up for his 2026 tour, Alice Cooper remains as vibrant and relevant as ever.
