Special reissue of Audioslave classic available this summer
Fans of the alternative sound of Audioslave will be thrilled to hear that the band’s second album is set to be released on vinyl this summer. “Out Of Exile” will hit the shelves on June 12 in two different versions: a standard black vinyl edition and a limited edition black liquid vinyl pressing that draws inspiration from the album’s cover art. The album, which saw Chris Cornell’s explosive vocals joining forces with Tom Morello, Tim Commerford, and Brad Wilk of Rage Against The Machine following the disbandment of Soundgarden, debuted impressively at No. 1 on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart.

The former even received a Grammy nomination for “Best Hard Rock Performance”, while the latter managed to top Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Chris Cornell himself described “Out Of Exile” as his most autobiographical work, citing influences from his journey through sobriety and personal growth.
