AT THE GATES unveil latest album ‘The Ghost of a Future Dead’

Swedish melodic death metal legends, AT THE GATES, have unleashed their latest studio album, ‘The Ghost of a Future Dead,’ to the world through Century Media Records. This release follows their 2021 album, ‘The Nightmare of Being,’ and serves as a poignant tribute to their late frontman, Tomas Lindberg, who tragically passed away in September 2025. The media worldwide has been effusive in their praise for the album, with multiple outlets heralding it as the “album of the month.” Metal Hammer, Rock Hard, Deaf Forever, Metal.de, Sweden Rock, and Metallian have all ranked it number one in their respective soundchecks, underlining the universal acclaim the band has received for this release.

Recorded and mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street Studios in Örebro, Sweden, the album features artwork by Robert Samsonowitz.
