Nina Winder-Lind of The New Eves Releases Solo Single “This is Our Life”
Known for her role as a guitarist, cellist, and vocalist in the famous “Hagstone rock” band, WInder-Lind has not limited herself to collaborative projects. She has previously ventured into solo work, with an example being her three-track EP titled The Spirit Is Carnal in 2023. Following this, she showcased her versatility by releasing her first poetry collection, Röd Ska Jag Leva, in 2025. WInder-Lind’s latest venture, “This Is Our Life,” marks her debut piece of music for the year 2026.
The creative process behind “This Is Our Life” was a natural and spontaneous experience for Winder-Lind. She recalls being in her family’s cabin situated in the serene north of Sweden when inspiration struck. Armed with an acoustic guitar, a violin, and a zoom mic, she took herself into a shed and quickly put together a demo. Despite its simplicity, she felt like the song had effortlessly come together.
