Cinema Stare debuts new single “Few Things”
Connecticut’s pop punk band Cinema Stare has been known for crafting heartfelt and infectious music for years. Their latest single, “Few Things,” released through Static Era Records, showcases the band’s emotional depth and determination. With Quinn Miller’s bright vocals, catchy synths, and dynamic melodies, the track delves into themes of loneliness and personal struggles. Lines like “I know a few things about being alone” are balanced with memorable “ba bup bas” hooks that will linger in your mind.
Quinn, the band’s vocalist, shared that the song was born from a place of childhood trauma and overwhelming emotions. He expressed the difficulty of moving on from negative feelings that seemed insurmountable, reflecting on inherited emotional conflicts that he grappled with through the songwriting process.
“Few Things” was meticulously produced, engineered, and mixed by Chris Teti at Silver Bullet Studios, with mastering by Will Putney. The track’s production quality enhances the emotional depth and sincerity of Cinema Stare’s music, offering listeners a raw and authentic experience.
This summer, Cinema Stare is gearing up for an extensive tour schedule. They will kick off with a northeast weekender alongside Keep Flying starting on May 20th. In July, the band will join forces with Adjust The Sails and Worlds Greatest Dad on tour, with special appearances by Hummus Vacuum and Sunday Cruise at select shows. The band members, Quinn Miller on Vocals/Guitar, Sean Maclure on Drums, Joe Pelegano on Bass, and Austin Hainey on Guitar, are set to bring their electrifying performances to various cities across the country.
