HEMLOCK Releases New Music Video for “Crooked Smile”

Hemlock has unveiled a new music video for their track “Crooked Smile” in anticipation of the vinyl re-release of their iconic album “Pigeonholed,” marking its 25-year anniversary. The song, originally produced by Mikey Doling in Malibu, California in 2001, has been revitalized to capture the essence of Hemlock’s fierce and chaotic presence.

To commemorate the album’s anniversary, Hemlock decided not only to release it on vinyl for the first time but also create a new video that embodies the high-octane energy of their live performances. Filmed and edited by Gearly Beloved Productions, the “Crooked Smile” video showcases footage from two explosive live shows, showcasing Hemlock’s raw and unapologetic stage presence.

More than just a song, “Crooked Smile” serves as a rallying cry for the outliers and those who have weathered battles. It speaks to embracing imperfections, healing from past wounds, and transforming them into something powerful and vibrant. The video encapsulates the spirit of Hemlock – gritty, authentic, and celebratory of resilience.

With the vinyl re-release on the horizon, Hemlock is preparing for an eventful year, starting with May tour dates in the US followed by a five-week European tour this summer. The band is set to perform at prestigious events like Till-Fest in Leipzig, Germany, alongside renowned acts such as Till Lindemann and Ministry, as well as Sticky Fingers in Marktredwitz, Germany, featuring Tankard and Stick To Your Guns.

The credits for “Crooked Smile” include music by Hemlock and lyrics by Chad Smith, with the video being filmed and edited by Gearly Beloved Productions. The musicians featured in the video are Chad Smith on lead vocals and bass guitar, Brian Smith on drums, Jerad Johnson on guitar, and Brandon Wiebke on guitar.
