The band’s name was coined by their drummer, Alex, during the band’s formation, and it stuck ever since. Their music style can be described as an alternative metal sound, creating a blend that is often likened to a mix of Alter Bridge and Halestorm. Bright Black’s music is shaped by the collaborative writing efforts of all four band members, each bringing their unique influences to the table.
When it comes to their live performances, Bright Black ensures to bring high energy and volume to the stage. Their shows are marked by an electrifying atmosphere, exuding a fun and energetic vibe while delivering a heavy rock experience that captivates the audience. Having never attended Call of the Wild before, the anticipation is high for their debut appearance at the event.
Upon receiving the invitation to perform at Call of the Wild, Bright Black expressed feelings of honor and excitement, eager to showcase their craft. Fans can expect a diverse setlist, featuring a mix of rock hits and metal anthems. While stage times are yet to be disclosed, the band members are particularly looking forward to catching performances by Glamour of the Kill and Beggars Bliss during the event.
Bright Black is currently gearing up for the release of a new single in early May and their debut EP scheduled for September. They are busy finalizing release plans and schedules for their upcoming music endeavors. Recalling memorable moments from their live shows, the band recounted a lively experience at Warwick University, where a circle pit formed around their bassist, adding to the thrill of the performance.
To set the mood before hitting the stage, a classic Jack and Coke does the trick for the band members. Call of the Wild Festival 2026 is scheduled to take place from May 28th to 31st, and remaining tickets are still available for purchase. Bright Black enthusiasts can stay connected with the band on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube to catch up on their latest updates and releases.
