Public Image Ltd (PiL), the legendary band fronted by John Lydon, has recently announced a series of special shows in Australia and New Zealand as part of their global “This Is Not… The Final PiL Tour.” After highly successful performances in Europe and North America in 2026, PiL will be bringing their unique sound, energy, and genre-defying show to Australian audiences for the first time in nearly a decade and to New Zealand for the first time in over 30 years!
Fans attending these shows can anticipate a setlist that covers PiL’s extensive catalog, including iconic tracks from their early days such as “Public Image” and “Metal Box.” The band promises to deliver their performance with full force, urging fans to “Expect the unexpected.”
The current PiL lineup consists of John Lydon on vocals, alongside Bruce Smith on drums, Lu Edmonds on guitar, and Scott Firth on bass. Together, they are delivering the heavy, mesmerizing rhythms and edgy confrontational vibe that have characterized PiL since its inception in 1978.
