The Rolling Stones are set to release their 25th studio album, “Foreign Tongues,” on July 10, following their last album, “Hackney Diamonds,” which was well-received and marked their return after 18 years. The announcement of the release date and a preview of a new single, “In The Stars,” was shared on the band’s Instagram channel.

In a promotional event in New York with comedian Conan O’Brien, Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, both 82 years old, along with 78-year-old Ronnie Wood, shared insights into their latest work. Jagger expressed that despite the fun they have, it requires a lot of concentration. O’Brien commended Jagger’s vocals, noting their strength and asking how he maintains it. Jagger humorously mentioned his past drug use in 1968 but emphasized that practice is the key to keeping his voice in top shape. Andrew Watt, one of the album’s producers, shared his excitement for the project, calling himself the band’s biggest fan.

While there was no mention of a concert tour at the event, reports suggest it was considered but ultimately ruled out due to the age of the band members and associated health risks. “Foreign Tongues” will feature collaborations with Paul McCartney and Robert Smith, adding to the anticipation surrounding the album.

Fans speculated about a new album release after The Rolling Stones dropped a limited edition single on vinyl as The Cockroaches, an alias previously used by the band for secret shows. The track, “Rough And Twisted,” was exclusively available at select record stores in the UK, fueling speculation about the album’s upcoming release.

Despite the excitement surrounding the new album, the band’s decision to forego a concert tour underlines their focus on delivering high-quality music without compromising their health. The inclusion of legendary musicians like Paul McCartney and Robert Smith hints at a new chapter in The Rolling Stones’ storied career, promising a unique musical experience for fans.

With “Foreign Tongues” set to be released in July, fans of The Rolling Stones can look forward to new music from the iconic rock band and the continuation of their legacy in the music industry.
