Summer in Estonia packed with live music events

The summer months in Estonia are synonymous with outdoor concerts, festivals, and live music events that draw big names for unforgettable performances. As we transition from spring to summer, there is a packed schedule of music-related events set to take place in different cities in Estonia through September.

May kicks off with some noteworthy events. Electronic music producer Nikki Nair is scheduled to perform live at Tallinn’s Paavli Culture Factory on May 16. May also welcomes American singer-songwriter and mezzo-soprano Tori Amos, who is set to take the stage at the Alexela Concert Hall in Tallinn on May 27. Fans of dance music will be thrilled to know that on May 30, Swedish House Mafia is gearing up for their only 2026 performance in the region at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds.

The summer momentum continues into June, boasting a lineup that includes the hip hop stars Black Eyed Peas, who will be performing in Tallinn on June 15. One day later, on June 16, Kings of Leon will make their Estonian debut at the Unibet Arena in Tallinn. ZZ Top, a veteran U.S. act, will enchant the audience in Tartu on June 22, marking their first performance in Estonia in 30 years. For a unique experience that combines classical music and boy band vibes, make sure to catch Germany’s 12 Tenors at the Alexela Concert Hall on June 27.

July brings a diverse array of events across Estonia. Alternative pop enthusiasts can look forward to the Tartu Punch festival, set to take place on July 3-4 in Tartu, featuring international artists like Swedish post-punk band Viagra Boys and British singer-songwriter Jack Garratt. The annual Õllesummer festival, running from July 1-4 at the Tallinn Song Festival Grounds, will bring together over 100 artists for an unforgettable experience. British synth-pop band Hurts will be performing at the Haven Kakumäe seaside venue on July 8, while John Legend is scheduled to enchant the audience at the song festival grounds in Tartu. For beach lovers, the Pärnu Beach Grind festival will be held on July 9-11, followed by the I Land Sound festival on Illiku islet and the Saaremaa Opera Festival starting on July 18.

In August, the music scene in Estonia remains vibrant. The Tallinn Rock Festival at the Unibet Arena from July 31 to August 2 will feature headliners such as the German rock band Scorpions. Fans of Lenny Kravitz can catch his performance at the Unibet Arena on July 20. The month closes with the Viljandi Folk festival from July 23-26, showcasing traditional music and performances. British singer-songwriter John Newman will mesmerize the audience at the Paterei Sea Fortress in Tallinn on July 31, alongside Estonia’s very own Rita Ray performing at Hara sadam in Kuusalu municipality.
