Joan Jett to Headline First UK Tour in 15 Years

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts have an exciting summer tour planned for 2026 that will take them across two continents. The tour will kick off with an appearance at BottleRock in Napa Valley, where they will share the stage with a diverse lineup including Foo Fighters, Kool & the Gang, Men at Work, and Bush. Jett previously performed at the inaugural BottleRock festival in 2013 and returned for a second appearance four years later.

The upcoming tour will include shows in various cities and venues, with highlights including the America250PA Commonwealth Concert Series in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and stops in Solvesborg, Sweden, and Tilloloy, France. One of the most anticipated aspects of the tour is Jett’s return to the UK for her first headlining dates in over 15 years. Fans in Glasgow, Leeds, and Manchester will have the opportunity to see Joan Jett and the Blackhearts perform live.

This tour marks a significant moment for Jett and her band as it will be their first since the passing of drummer Thommy Price, who had been part of the Blackhearts for nearly three decades. Price contributed to eight of the band’s albums, starting with Jett’s fifth studio project. His passing left a void in the band, but Jett and the Blackhearts are carrying on in his memory.

Last year, Jett had the chance to perform alongside another iconic figure from the ’80s rock scene, Billy Idol. Idol’s “It’s a Nice Day to … Tour Again!” featured 30 shows split into two legs between May and September. In addition to these performances, Jett also took part in a residency at the House of Blues Las Vegas in June 2025.
