First Co-Op Summer Showcase Kicks Off May 15 at Co-Op Park
The very first Co-op Summer Showcase is set to kick off on Friday, May 15 at 6PM, featuring the rock band, Baggage Claim, at the beautiful Co-op Park on Central Avenue next to the Los Alamos Schools Credit Union. This thrilling concert series showcases the musical talents of local artists as opening acts for the main Friday concert series in an outdoor setting. The primary aim of this free concert series is to foster a sense of community and shed light on a new non-profit organization that will host local music events like this series and the Winter Rock Festival. The shows take place on Friday evenings, usually from 5:45 to 6:30 p.m., allowing attendees to conveniently walk from the performance area to Ashley Pond in time for larger concerts.
The Co-op Summer Showcase is a celebration of local talent, offering the community an opportunity to enjoy live music while supporting local artists, food vendors, and other businesses.
