The video features band members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, and Ronnie Wood rocking out at a house party, surrounded by other musicians and partygoers dancing to the catchy tune. One of the attendees at the digitally-enhanced jam is Odessa A’zion, who plays a character named “Marty Supreme.” In the video, she interacts with Jagger, showcasing the band’s energy and vitality.

“I’m obsessed with the Rolling Stones,” A’zion expressed in a statement. “This is in my bucket list for sure.” The use of “groundbreaking deepfake technology” by Deep Voodoo, an AI company founded by “South Park” creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, brought the video to life. By employing body doubles and high-tech wizardry, the company recreated the band’s dynamic performance, immortalizing the rock legends in their prime.

Tragically, the band lost their longtime drummer, Charlie Watts, in 2021 at the age of 80. However, the video for “In the Stars” seamlessly incorporates an array of drummers to fill in for Watts, ensuring that the band’s signature sound remains intact.

The Stones held a Q&A session hosted by comedian Conan O’Brien in Brooklyn on May 5 to promote their upcoming album, “Foreign Tongues.” This album marks the band’s second venture into original new music since 2005 and is set to be released on July 10.
