Soyou, an artist known for her solo work and previous involvement in the group Sistar, shared a harrowing experience that took place while filming the music video for her latest track, “Girl.” In a recent upload to her YouTube channel, titled ‘Off Hours: Behind the Scenes,’ Soyou provided a glimpse into the production of the music video.

During the shoot, a frightening incident unfolded as Soyou collapsed while filming a scene set in a subway station. The episode led to her being immediately taken to the emergency room for medical attention. Remarkably, despite her health scare, she returned to the set a mere two hours after seeking medical help. She expressed her determination to complete the filming by saying, “Even while I was in pain, all I kept thinking was: we still have to film the subway scene. Figure something out… I was supposed to wait for the CT results to come back, but I told them, ‘I’m fine, let’s just leave.'”

Soyou shared that medical evaluation revealed a significant drop in her blood pressure, resulting in her passing out. She recounted the moment she fainted, stating, “I don’t even remember screaming” due to the sudden loss of consciousness.

After a brief emergency meeting to reorganize the day’s schedule, the MV director expressed concern about Soyou’s well-being and ability to continue filming. In response, she reassured them by repeating to herself, “I’m not in pain,” as she exhibited unwavering professionalism and determination to finish shooting the subway scene.

Despite the challenges she faced on set, Soyou persevered and completed filming, earning praise for her resilience in confronting unexpected obstacles.
