Vampires Everywhere! to support A Skylit Drive on UK tour in September
Vampires Everywhere! is gearing up for an exciting UK tour in September as they prepare to hit the road supporting A Skylit Drive. Following the release of their latest single, “All My Friends Think I’m Weird,” the band is excited to bring their unique sound to fans across the UK.
Lead vocalist, Michael Vampire, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming tour, stating, “I am so excited to head back to the United Kingdom this September with A Skylit Drive! I always feel at home in the UK, and the fans there are absolutely amazing! We plan on bringing a special setlist and live show for this run. I want to make this tour extra special and leave fans with a piece of my heart. This is a tour you do not want to miss!”
The UK tour dates include stops in Birmingham, Manchester, Glasgow, Newcastle, London, and Southampton. Fans can expect a dynamic performance from Vampires Everywhere! as they showcase their latest single, “All My Friends Think I’m Weird,” which offers a fresh perspective on the band’s music with its sing-along melodies and comedic music video featuring Madison Morgan and Bryce Soderberg.
Michael Vampire shared the inspiration behind the single, explaining, “For as long as I can remember, I always wanted to be a vampire! I dreamed of it as a little kid and even started a band based around it! I am a man obsessed with vampire culture and the idea of living forever to experience all that life has to offer. Now, that being said, there is also the other side of it; another frame of thought. The people who think I’m absolutely insane for even associating myself with vampire culture and for calling myself a vampire. I wanted to write a song to all those people actively hating on me, the band, and everything I built. However, I didn’t want to make it that serious. I’m always serious! But this time I really needed some lighthearted comedy to soften the mood and show people I can smile; I am funny! I can roast myself! That being said, the song and music video came to life.”
Formed in Hollywood, CA, Vampires Everywhere! has a unique origin story involving lead vocalist Michael Vampire’s near-death experience and love for horror films like “Bram Stoker’s Dracula” and “The Lost Boys.” The band combines elements of 80’s glam with new-aged metalcore, gaining popularity with their debut music video, “Immortal Love,” which quickly hit 1 million views. Over the years, they have performed alongside notable artists and at various music festivals, solidifying their presence in the music scene.
The 2021 era of Vampires Everywhere! has seen a resurgence in their fan base, with their cover of “Cry Little Sister” earning recognition on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart. Michael Vampire emphasizes the band’s message of self-belief and darkness in their music, aiming to connect with listeners on a deeper level.
