Evanescence drops music video for ‘Who Will You Follow’ in anticipation of June album release
Evanescence has just unveiled the music video for their latest track, “Who Will You Follow,” which is featured on their upcoming album, Sanctuary, set to be released on June 5. The music video was directed by Jensen Noen, who successfully incorporated elements of technology and the spread of false information on the internet into the visual representation of the song.
The band was thrilled to see the rapid success of “Who Will You Follow,” as it quickly became their fastest-moving rock radio single in history. Within just four weeks, the track reached the number one spot on the US Rock Radio charts and also secured their first number one position on Billboard’s Hard Rock Song Chart. Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish collaborated with the band on the writing of the song, with both contributing to the production. Nick Raskulinecz also worked on producing additional tracks on the upcoming Sanctuary album.
Excitement is building as the release of Sanctuary approaches, set to be offered in various formats including digital downloads, standard CDs, deluxe CDs, and limited-edition box sets. For vinyl enthusiasts, a double vinyl version will be available starting on September 4. Frontwoman Amy Lee expressed her immense pride and satisfaction with the album, which she described as a three-year labor of love and a source of hope and connection through the power of music.
Reflecting on the band’s remarkable journey, Evanescence’s debut album Fallen, released in 2003, was an international sensation, selling over 17 million copies worldwide. Featuring iconic tracks such as “Bring Me to Life” and “My Immortal,” the album cemented Evanescence’s status as a dominant force in the music industry, with chart-topping success in multiple countries.
Fans eagerly anticipate the start of the 2026 World Tour, kicking off on June 11 in West Palm Beach, Florida. The North American leg of the tour will feature opening acts Spiritbox and Nova Twins, while Poppy will support the UK shows, and Nova Twins will join the European tour, with K.Flay as the opener for UK performances and the Red Rocks Amphitheatre concert. Notably, the Paris and Kuala Lumpur shows have already sold out, with high demand for tickets across all tour dates.
As anticipation grows for the release of Sanctuary and the launch of the upcoming tour, Evanescence continues to captivate audiences with their unique blend of powerful music and emotional depth, promising an unforgettable experience for fans around the world.
