YES to release new single “Turnaround Situation” from their 24th studio album ‘Aurora’
YES is excited to announce the release of their 24th studio album ‘Aurora’ on June 12th, 2026, available through InsideOutMusic/Sony Music. In anticipation of the album, they have launched a new single titled ‘Turnaround Situation’ along with a visualizer created by Matt Hutchings, who also worked on the video for the album’s title track.
Jon Davison, a member of YES, shared his thoughts on the new single, stating that the inspiration behind ‘Turnaround Situation’ came from a realization that ignoring one’s conscience often leads to life falling apart. He reflects on past decisions and the consequences of taking the wrong path, highlighting the temporary thrill versus the lasting implications. Through this song, Davison addresses themes of confession, redemption, and inner peace, emphasizing the rewards of choosing the right path, despite its challenges.
‘Aurora’ will be released in various formats, including a Limited Deluxe 180g Light Green 2LP+2CD+Blu-ray Artbook & Poster, a Ltd Deluxe 2CD+Blu-ray Artbook, a Gatefold 180g 2LP + LP-booklet, a Special Edition CD Digipak, and Digital Album.
