Moja to embark on European tour in June
After completing a successful European tour last year, the rock duo Moja is gearing up for another tour this coming June. They are set to kick off their tour at the Oerol site-specific arts festival on the Wadden Sea island of Terschelling. Following this, they have a series of festival appearances and club shows scheduled across six countries.
Moja, a duo consisting of bassist/vocalist Haru and drummer Masumi, has been active in the music scene since 2007. Their signature sound is described as rock with a fusion of distortion, rhythm, and chemistry, resulting in a powerful and captivating wall of sound that strikes a balance between aggression and hypnotism.
The band Moja, stylized as moja, has a rich history of releasing albums and singles and performing extensively around the world. They have graced the stages of renowned festivals like SXSW, the Tallinn Music Festival, Left of the Dial, and the Stepping Stone Festival. Last year, they embarked on a collaborative project with THE MOLICE under the moniker MO, releasing their first exclusive track on vinyl. In the meantime, they have been dedicated to their individual work, culminating in the release of their latest album, “I’m Hungry !!,” on 26 September 2025. This album captures the raw energy and DIY ethos of noise-rock that Moja is known for.
