The Triumph Thruxton 400 is undeniably a showstopper, catching the eye of many motorcycle enthusiasts. Its design is a standout feature, appealing to those who appreciate its unique silhouette. Seeing the bike in color, glistening in the sunlight, evokes a sense of excitement and adventure, especially when imagining speeding down winding roads.

Recently, I had the opportunity to test both the Triumph Thruxton 400 and Tracker 400 on the same routes, allowing me to compare and contrast the riding experiences between the two models. While one might assume that the differences lie solely in ergonomics and body style, there is more depth to consider.

The Thruxton 400 is a stunning representation of the classic cafe racer aesthetic, tailored for individuals of shorter stature like myself. On the other hand, the Tracker 400 offered a pleasant surprise at the end of the day. With its wider handlebars and upright seating position, the Tracker 400 proved to be more inviting and comfortable than expected.

Choosing between the two bikes ultimately depends on your preferences and riding style. Both models offer distinct qualities that cater to different riders. However, it’s disappointing that the red Thruxton colorway will not be available in the North American market for 2026.

For a more detailed analysis of my experiences with the Thruxton 400 and Tracker 400, my comprehensive written reviews are accessible for further insight. If you have any inquiries about either motorcycle, feel free to engage in the comments section, and I’ll address them to the best of my ability.
