A well-known Japanese figure manufacturer, “HOBBY MAX JAPAN,” recently unveiled a highly detailed scale figure featuring Misato Katsuragi from the renowned sci-fi anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. This scale figure, named “Misato Katsuragi: Comics Ver.,” takes direct inspiration from a classic illustration found within the manga adaptation.

Neon Genesis Evangelion, which made its television debut in 1995, transformed the mecha genre by combining thrilling giant robot battles with intricate psychological themes and character studies. This groundbreaking series quickly became an international cultural phenomenon, spawning multiple feature films, print adaptations, and a dedicated community of collectors that has thrived for years.

As a key character in the series, Misato Katsuragi is easily recognized as a central figure in the story.
