Cole Goodwin, a rising Country artist, has recently revealed the release of his upcoming ‘Howdy’ EP, which will be available on June 26 through Big Machine Records. Alongside this announcement, he has shared his new song “Girl That’s How,” which captures the essence of small-town romance.

In “Girl That’s How,” Goodwin creates a narrative of love that resonates with the experiences of a country boy. The song paints a picture of simple, heartfelt moments such as swinging on a front porch, enjoying sweet tea, stealing kisses in parking lots, and watching sunsets from the back of a truck. It encapsulates the pure and tender moments of falling in love.

Reflecting on the song, Goodwin expressed, “‘Girl That’s How’ is an easy listening ‘good ole boy’ song that takes me back to my high school and college days spent riding around in my truck.” He further added, “This song feels like home, and I’m eager for everybody to hear it.”

Hailed by Holler as an “old school country crooner,” Goodwin’s ‘Howdy’ EP will showcase his authentic sound that pays homage to classic country storytelling. The EP will feature tracks such as “Girl That’s How,” “Howdy,” “Where She’s Coming From,” along with unreleased songs like “Call Me Colorado” and “Keep On Rainin’.”

Penned by Kevin Denney, Tom Botkin, and Mike Rogers, “Girl That’s How” is a melodic blend of Goodwin’s timeless twang, complemented by vibrant fiddles and guitar rhythms. The song transports listeners into a nostalgic small-town love story reminiscent of Mayberry-like scenes.

Fresh from supporting Vincent Mason on his ‘There I Go Tour’ and delivering stellar performances at music festivals like Tortuga Music Festival and Country Thunder Florida, Goodwin is gearing up for an eventful summer on the road. Fans can catch him at various venues and festivals, including CMA Fest, Rock the South, and Tailgate N’ Tallboys, followed by supporting acts for artists like Carly Pearce, Dierks Bentley, Jordan Davis, Zach Top, and Braxton Keith.

Maintaining a consistent old-school country vibe, Goodwin’s EP ‘Howdy’ promises a musical journey filled with heartfelt narratives and captivating melodies. With his distinctive voice and poignant songwriting, Goodwin continues to captivate audiences with his genuine storytelling and soulful sound.
