Singer Charli XCX is preparing to host a London edition of her Conversations events, and attendees may get a sneak peek at new music during her DJ set. The singer, whose real name is Charlotte Aitchison, will be joined by her husband, The 1975 drummer George Daniel, for a live talk about the creative process. The event is scheduled to take place at Exmouth Market in east London and will kick off at 7.30pm with the talk followed by the DJ set at 8pm at Coin Laundry.
In an Instagram post on her B.sides account, Charli hinted at the possibility of debuting new music during the set, stating, “First come, first serve (might hide some new music in the set).”

The London event follows a similar gathering in New York where Charli engaged with fans in intimate Q&A sessions focusing on her creative process and songwriting. Teasing the upcoming event on her main Instagram account, she posted a cryptic message that read, “London… tomorrow night?”

Recently, the Cambridge-born artist released her latest single SS26 along with its B-side Playboy Bunny, available exclusively on record or through her B.sides Instagram account. She had previously dropped the single Rock Music on May 8, following an interview with Vogue where she hinted at exploring rock music for her upcoming project. However, she clarified in an Instagram post that she was not necessarily making a rock album. The release of Rock Music was accompanied by the B-side I Keep Thinking About You Every Single Day And Night, also available only through physical formats and Instagram.
Charli’s new music follows the success of her Brat album released in 2024, which sparked a cultural phenomenon known as “Brat summer.” This trend took over social media with fans embracing sultry fashion inspired by the album’s neon green and black cover.
Aside from her music career, Charli also delved into film projects, starring in The Moment, a semi-fictional film exploring the release of Brat and its subsequent world tour. She also appeared in other works like Pete Ohs’ Erupcja and Julia Jackman’s 100 Nights Of Hero.

With two UK number one singles and three chart-topping albums to her name, Charli XCX is recognized for hits like Boom Clap, Guess, and I Love It with Swedish duo Icona Pop. As she continues to evolve her sound and creative style, fans eagerly anticipate the surprises she has in store at her upcoming Conversations event in London.
