American pop sensation Ariana Grande stars in a new music video that has gotten fans talking. In the video for her latest song, “Hate That I Made You Love Me,” she appears to haunt US actor Justin Long. The 32-year-old singer showcases her acting skills alongside the He’s Just Not That Into You and Jeepers Creepers star, Long, 47, in a video released recently.

The video opens with Long shoveling dirt over a grave, hinting at a mysterious and eerie atmosphere. It is soon revealed that Grande’s character is underground in a bunker-like room. As Long drives away, he catches sight of Grande in the rear-view mirror but she disappears when he tries to look at her directly, adding an element of mystery and intrigue to the story.

The haunting continues as Grande’s character, possibly a former partner of Long’s character, causes him to crash his car, leading to a fiery accident. Grande’s character then follows Long as he walks away from the wreckage, wearing a yellow maxi dress and adding to the haunting nature of the video.

The eerie atmosphere intensifies as Long throws away sentimental items like photographs and a plate that says “Happy 8th anniversary,” with Grande watching him from behind a door. The haunting takes a surreal turn when Long enters a diner only to discover that everyone inside, including the waitress and chef, is Grande in disguise, creating a chilling and unsettling scene.

The video’s climax sees Long return to the bunker he found Grande in, only to realize that she has disappeared, leaving him trapped. The video ends with Grande shoveling dirt over Long, symbolizing his entrapment and the haunting nature of their relationship.

The track featured in the video is the first single from Grande’s upcoming eighth studio album, “Petal,” set to be released on July 31. This album comes just over a year after the release of “Eternal Sunshine Deluxe: Brighter Days Ahead.” The video precedes Grande’s “The Eternal Sunshine” tour, with dates scheduled in major cities across the US and culminating with shows at London’s O2 Arena in August and September.

Ariana Grande, a Grammy award-winning singer, rose to fame through her appearances on Nickelodeon shows like Victorious and Sam And Cat. Since releasing her debut album, “Yours Truly,” in 2013, she has achieved multiple number one singles in the UK and several UK number one albums, solidifying her status as a chart-topping artist in the music industry. Her continued success and innovative music videos like the one featuring Justin Long showcase her talent and creativity, captivating audiences worldwide.
