Billboard’s annual Songs of the Summer chart has made its return to Billboard.com, marking the beginning of the countdown to the No. 1 song for the upcoming summer of 2026. The chart is a compiled list of the 20 most popular hits based on their cumulative performance on the weekly streaming, airplay, and sales-based Billboard Hot 100 charts. This chart covers the period from Memorial Day through Labor Day in the U.S., which translates to charts dated from June 6 to September 12, 2026.

Drake’s track “Janice STFU” is leading the Songs of the Summer chart for the 2026 season, securing the top spot on the Hot 100 for the second consecutive week. This sets him on the path to potentially become the first artist with three season-end No. 1 Songs of the Summer, following his previous successes with “In My Feelings” in 2018 and “One Dance” in 2016. Drake is among six artists who have achieved two annual victories each, showcasing his enduring popularity.

Alongside his chart-topping hit, Drake also dominates with a total of seven entries on the initial Songs of the Summer chart for 2026.
