Motionless In White reveal upcoming Fall tour dates across North America
Motionless In White recently announced their Fall North American Arena Tour featuring special guests Dayseeker, The Devil Wears Prada, and Dark Devine. This tour follows their previous announcement of a summer tour, showing their commitment to keeping the party going all year round. The band shared a full list of new tour dates, with ticket availability starting from Artist and Citi pre-sales on June 2, followed by additional pre-sales leading up to the general ticket on-sale on June 5. Citi cardmembers will also have exclusive access to pre-sale tickets.
Their upcoming album, “Decades,” set to release on July 17 through Roadrunner Records, has already teased fans with two singles, “Playing God” and “Afraid of the Dark.” The track “Playing God” features Slipknot frontman Corey Taylor, adding an aggressive edge to the song. Chris Motionless discussed the inspiration behind the track, highlighting a social commentary on toxic internet culture and the division it creates among people. The band expressed frustration with the negativity prevalent on social media, which was originally intended to connect people rather than divide them.
“Decades” showcases Motionless In White’s signature style while incorporating high-profile guest appearances from artists like Skylar Grey and Dark Divine’s Anthony Martinez. Recorded in Upstate New York and Los Angeles with co-producers Drew Fulk and Justin “JD” deBlieck, the album blends past, present, and future sounds into a cohesive offering. Chris Motionless emphasized the band’s willingness to take risks, experimenting with new sounds while staying true to their roots.
The band’s upcoming Sweat and Blood Tour this summer includes Lorna Shore, Fit For a King, and Static Dress as special guests. This tour marks Motionless In White’s first American headlining tour in nearly three years, kicking off in Bridgeport, Connecticut, and spanning various cities before concluding in Sterling Heights, Michigan. The tour also includes a stop at Red Rocks, a significant milestone for the band as they headline the venue for the first time.
As Motionless In White gears up for their upcoming tours, they express their excitement to reconnect with their American fans and perform new material from their upcoming album. “Decades” promises to deliver a heavier sound that reflects the world’s current energy, incorporating themes of aggression, anger, and resistance into their music. The band’s dedication to evolving while staying true to their theatrical and dramatic style shines through in their latest endeavors, ensuring that fans can expect nothing less than a memorable live experience.
