Black Label Society releases new “Bored To Tears” music video

Black Label Society, fronted by the renowned American guitarist Zakk Wylde, has unveiled a new music video today for their track “Bored To Tears” from their upcoming album set for release this spring. Directed once again by their long-time collaborator Justin Reich, this marks the second music video reveal from the revamped version of Sonic Brew – 20th Anniversary Blend 5.99 – 5.19 slated for release next month. Previously, the band had dropped the music video for “Spoke In The Wheel” last month.

In a surprising turn of events, this video introduces unexpected elements like lollipops, dinosaurs, and dancing turtles, quite unlike anything seen in a BLACK LABEL SOCIETY music video before. Zakk shares, “With the NEW BLACK LABEL SUPAH-EXCITING TECHNICOLOR DREAM COAT HIGH CALORIE BURNING video for “BORED TO TEARS”, I told BLACK LABEL DIRECTOR O’ DOOM & DELIGHT, FATHER JUSTIN REICH, that I wanted to do an ‘EXCITING’ and ‘TOUGH’ looking video in the movie genre style of CLINT EASTWOOD & CHARLES BRONSON.”

Following the release of the video, he humorously adds, “After seeing the video, apparently FATHER JUSTIN REICH Doesn’t know who these LEGENDARY FILM ICONS are or has them confused with two other actors named CLINT EASTWOOD & CHARLES BRONSON. Every time I watch this video I’m more confused than I was during the previous viewing.”

Both “Bored To Tears” and “Spoke In The Wheel” are available as iTunes instant gratification tracks, allowing fans who pre-order the album on iTunes to receive both singles as instant downloads, while they are also accessible on all streaming platforms.

By entering a fresh deal with record label Entertainment One (eOne), BLACK LABEL SOCIETY’s extensive back catalog is now consolidated in one place, seamlessly blending the band’s earlier works with their recent releases. The renewed edition of their classic debut presents a larger-than-life form without compromising its familiar essence along with two additional offerings: a full band/piano iteration of “Spoke in the Wheel” and an acoustic rendition of “Black Pearl”.

In tandem with the album release, BLACK LABEL SOCIETY has rolled out their “20 Years of Sonic Brewtality Tour”, a fresh string of 2019 North American tour dates. Each market will witness two shows – the first night dedicated to Sonic Brew performed in its entirety while the second night will feature a lineup of greatest hits. Accompanying the band on this tour will be CONAN and THE ATOMIC BITCHWAX. Additionally, the band is slated to take the stage at U.S festivals Sonic Temple, Epicenter, and Welcome to Rockville.
