Celebrate 25 Years of ‘The Fallout’ with Canadian Tour and Vinyl Reissue
Default, a post-grunge band from Vancouver that rose to prominence in the late ’90s, is marking the 25th anniversary of their debut album, The Fallout, with a special Canadian tour and a reissue of the album on vinyl.
Frontman Dallas Smith, who has pursued a solo country career in recent years, expressed his amazement at the fact that 25 years have passed since the release of The Fallout. He shared that the songs from the album had a profound impact on the band’s trajectory, opening doors they never thought possible. Smith expressed gratitude to the loyal fans who have supported Default since the beginning and conveyed the band’s excitement about revisiting these songs on stage. The Fallout holds a significant place in the band’s hearts, making it a special milestone to celebrate with their fans.
The Canadian tour will feature support from Wide Mouth Mason and Limblifter. The tour kicks off on September 21 in Grande Prairie and includes stops in various Canadian cities across five provinces. The band will perform in Prince George, Red Deer, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Regina, Vancouver, and additional dates in Ontario. The tour will conclude in late November with shows in Toronto, Waterloo, and London.
Fans eager to relive the nostalgia of The Fallout can pre-order the newly remastered 25th Anniversary Edition from 604 Records. This reissue will mark the first time the album is pressed on vinyl, in addition to being available on CD. Tickets for the tour will go on sale to the general public on June 10, with pre-sale options available on June 9.
