Evanescence releases new album and announces extended world tour.

Evanescence has made a triumphant return with the release of their sixth studio album, “Sanctuary,” on June 5. This album, featuring 12 tracks, is the band’s first full-length studio release since 2021’s “The Bitter Truth.” It is also the second collection of new material from Evanescence since 2011.

The announcement of the album release was accompanied by the debut of the single “Who Will You Follow.” “Sanctuary” was co-written and produced by Zakk Cervini and Jordan Fish, both of whom have an impressive musical background. Cervini’s work includes collaborations with artists like Bring Me the Horizon, Blink-182, and Poppy, while Fish is associated with Bring Me the Horizon.

The tracks on “Sanctuary” showcase a diverse mix of sounds and styles. From guitar-driven tracks to piano-led pieces with electronic textures, the album explores a range of musical elements. North American tour dates will feature support from Spiritbox and Nova Twins, while European and U.K. shows will include Poppy and Nova Twins. Additionally, the band has added six arena dates in Australia and New Zealand in March 2027, following their recent appearances supporting Metallica in Australia.
