The Bobby Lees, a rock trio from Woodstock, NY, have recently unveiled the last sneak peek of their upcoming album “New Self,” set to be released on June 12 through Epitaph. The new single, titled “Red Hot,” is now available for fans to enjoy.
The band’s latest track strikes a balance between vulnerability and playful irreverence, showcasing lead vocalist Sam Quartin’s no-nonsense attitude. Explaining the inspiration behind the song, the band stated, “This song delves into the desire for more – more love, more connection, more attention. That insatiable longing.” Interestingly, the recording process for the track was filled with laughter, leaving the band members in stitches by its conclusion.
To celebrate the release of their new album, the Bobby Lees will be embarking on a North American tour in the fall, with a single Canadian stop in Toronto at Longboat Hall on October 20. Fans can already purchase tickets for the upcoming tour.
