After completing a successful 40-city tour, Brian K & The Parkway are making a triumphant return with their vibrant second album, recorded live in the studio. This new album showcases the band’s signature polished yet laid-back rock & roll sound that has been gaining considerable attention nationwide. With singles like “Dogwood,” “Crows in Camouflage,” “Scarecrow,” and “The Beachcomber” already generating buzz, their upcoming album “Roses & Kerosene” is set to be released on September 4, 2026.

One of the standout tracks on the album is the title track “Roses & Kerosene,” which features a powerful duet with the acclaimed singer-songwriter Lilly Hiatt. Hiatt expressed her joy in singing this song with the band, citing the beautiful melody and heartwarming sentiment that sets hearts ablaze. The album was brought to life through collaborations with friends of the band, including bassist Cat Popper and keyboardist Rob Clores, who added their unique talents and energy to the recording process.

Recording their new album in Richmond, VA, the band and the featured artists came together for an intensive four-day session. The album sessions were co-produced by Mike Reina, mixed by Sean Sullivan, and mastered by Justin Perkins. Despite the band and guest musicians not having played together before the recording, they quickly found their groove and managed to capture a vibrant live energy within just a few days.

“Roses & Kerosene” is a product of the band’s year-long experience on the road following their first album release. With a blend of influences ranging from Americana to rock & roll, the album explores the intricacies of relationships, reflecting on the different facets of human connections.
