Wishy reveals details about new album, Nature’s Pill
The latest release from the band, Nature’s Pill, comes on the heels of their debut album Triple Seven in 2024, and the EP Planet Popstar which was unveiled last year. Today, fans are treated to the first taste of this new collection of songs with the arrival of “Lovesick,” showcasing Wishy’s unique blend of grunge, indie rock, and dream-pop. Lead vocalist Nina Pitchkite shared her thoughts on the single, stating, “There’s not much more that needs to be said about yearning in 2026, but here it is anyway. Kevin and I are stupidly romantic people who like twee pop so that combination alone was a recipe for a cheeky ‘main character’ song. We really leaned into the overzealous lyrics here because 1) we’re allowed, 2) can do whatever we want and 3) it’s fun 🙂 yay!”
In the creation of Nature’s Pill, the band teamed up with producer Ben Lumsdaine in Los Angeles, who was also involved in co-producing Triple Seven. Notably, half of the songs on the album were recorded live, drawing from the band’s rich experiences from heavy touring. Reflecting on Wishy’s journey as a band and their motivation behind their second album, lead vocalist and guitarist Kevin Krauter shared, “Being in an indie band feels bizarre when the world is on fire. What can you do at the end of the day other than carve out some space—at the very least I have my imagination and I can invite others to join me there. At a certain point you need to say f*** it and roll with it.”
The tracklist for Nature’s Pill includes a diverse range of songs that promise to take listeners on a captivating musical journey:
– “All The Rage”
– “Covergirl”
– “Sensational”
– “Shift”
– “You’re Not Serious”
– “Mona Lisa”
– “Lovesick”
– “Freak 99”
– “Headscratcher”
– “Blitz”
– “Kiss Kiss Kiss”

With Nature’s Pill, Wishy continues to push their musical boundaries and explore new sounds while staying true to their unique blend of genres. The album promises to be a compelling addition to their discography, showcasing their growth and evolution as a band.
