Marilyn Manson, ’90s Rocker, Reveals New Album and 2026 Tour
Legendary musician Marilyn Manson recently shared exciting news with his fans, unveiling a significant development in his music career. Manson, a prominent figure in the shock rock and industrial metal scenes of the ’90s, made a noteworthy announcement ahead of his upcoming North American tour.
Taking to Instagram, the 57-year-old rocker disclosed details about his 13th studio album, titled “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 2,” scheduled for release on August 14 through Nuclear Blast Records. This album marks Manson’s latest musical endeavor following the launch of “One Assassination Under God – Chapter 1” back in 2024.
Accompanying the album announcement, Manson also dropped the lead single “Exit Wound,” a track co-created with the renowned musician and record producer Tyler Bates. The single showcases a unique blend of glam, goth rock, and industrial metal elements, serving as a continuation of Manson’s previous studio album.
“I am proud to give you the second chapter of One Assassination Under God. This completes my story. I used each stone that was thrown at me to sharpen my edges. I outgrew purgatory and carved these songs into the skin of the world. As you listen, I hope it forms a scar that you cannot forget,” Manson expressed in his Instagram post.
This release comes at a significant juncture as Manson prepares for his upcoming tour. Following successful performances in Europe during the winter of 2025 and a North American spring tour earlier this year, Manson is set for a series of shows in both Europe and North America.
The European leg of the tour, named One Assassination Under the God Tour, kicks off in July with 14 dates across the continent, featuring special guest Vows on selected shows. The concerts will begin in Viveiro, Spain, and culminate in Ghimbav, Romania before Manson embarks on a co-headlining tour with Rob Zombie for The Freaks on Parade tour in North America.
The Freaks on Parade tour is set to span 21 dates across North America, with The Hu and Orgy joining as special guests. Manson’s return to the stage promises a blend of intense performances and electrifying energy that has made him a standout in the rock music scene for decades.
As Manson prepares to showcase his new album and electrifying performances to audiences worldwide, fans can anticipate a thrilling musical experience that encapsulates the essence of his iconic and boundary-pushing style.
