INDICATION, WATCH YOU FALL, and SEASONS END collaborate on FOREVER YOURS split EP

Representing a collaborative effort between metalcore bands from different parts of the world, the latest three-way split titled “FOREVER YOURS” brings together INDICATION from Tokyo, Japan, WATCH YOU FALL from Ventura, CA, and SEASONS END from Atlanta, GA. Released via DAZE and Militia Inc., this split features six original tracks and covers of iconic songs by Poison The Well, Arkangel, and Killing Time.

This unique collaboration was born out of a shared love for Japanese metal and hardcore, with the bands connecting online over their mutual admiration for the music scene. Drawing inspiration from the influential “The Document” compilation from 2002 and the hardcore edge-metal group State Craft from the mid-90s, these bands have come together to create a powerful and diverse collection of tracks that showcase their individual styles and influences.

Kicking off the split is INDICATION with “RISE FROM THE ASHES” and “WILLPOWER,” two dynamic tracks that blend heavy riffs with melodic interludes, fronted by a passionate vocal performance from Kentaro, formerly of Crystal Lake. They also put their own spin on the classic metalcore track “NERDY” by Poison The Well. The songs by INDICATION were self-produced, recorded, and mixed by Devu at Devu Recording Studio, with mastering done by Brad Boatright at Audiosiege.

WATCH YOU FALL brings their unique sound to the split with “DEFINED BY FAILURE,” “FUTILE,” and a cover of Arkangel’s “WITHIN THE WALLS OF BABYLON.” Their music is characterized by gothic-inspired guitar progressions and powerful vocals that create an atmosphere of “mythical obliteration.” The tracks were recorded and produced by Vincent Amador at Room 11, and mixed and mastered by Brad Racine at Local Man Recordings.

Closing out the split is SEASONS END with “EXPRESS OUR WILL,” “DETERMINATION OF SPIRIT,” and a bold rendition of Killing Time’s “TELLTALE.” Embracing the more metallic aspects of the genre, SEASONS END delivers a fast-paced, intense sound with vocals that alternate between harsh and direct. The band took charge of recording the songs themselves, with mixing and mastering handled by Harris Noland.

“FOREVER YOURS” offers listeners a diverse and engaging collection of tracks that highlight the talent and creativity of these three bands. With each group bringing their unique sound and style to the table, this split showcases the rich diversity and innovation present in the global metalcore scene.
